Firmware Update Version 2.2 for the Leica D-Lux 4 Camera Has Been Released
On December 11, 2009, Leica released the new firmware update version 2.1 for the D-Lux 4 camera. The update was withdrawn temporarily because of technical concerns. On December 19, 2009, Leica released a corrected version 2.2 of the firmware. Please click on this link to download the new update. Please note that there are two separate documents to download at the Leica site. The firmware itself has the file name: "D-Lux 4 Firmware Update 2.2." The instruction pamphlet that explains how to use the update's new features has the file name: "Update 2.2 instructions for new functions." You should download both files. Also, you can find both the update and the instructions in several languages other than English.
